THE COOL BRIDE & GROOM

Earlier this year I was contacted by a future bride, who was on the hunt for a wedding photographer for her August 2013 wedding. Apparently, this bride had done all of her homework before contacting me via my website. I received the message and immediately responded to the wedding inquiry with a phone call. To my surprise, Metoka (the bride), seemed to have already selected me as their photographer. As words such as “love your work” and “impressed” rolled out of her mouth, I began to think this was a prank call. However, I kept it professional and guided her through our booking process.

PERSONALITY

Needless to say, the rest is history. Ok, maybe not. For the next several months, we’d keep in contact through a countless number of emails until the day before their monumental wedding day, the wedding rehearsal. This is where I finally got the chance to meet the groom, William. I had already established Metoka’s style and demeanor over several months and now I had do figure out William within the next 24 hours. I always try to shoot according to my clients’ character or style. To make this long story short, Metoka & William turned to be some of the most laid back folks I’ve dealt with. Not that I encounter pushy clients all the time, but the fact they stayed natural to who they really were, just made my job pretty easy. They weren’t shy in front of the camera, neither did they demand my full attention at all times. To that I say thanks. Although it rained like crazy outside that beautiful day, everything turned out just perfect. You don’t have to take my word for it though. See for yourself….
