LONG TIME BROTHER

Well what can I say about this brother. I’ve known him for a while now by way of my church family, which is now called Kingdom Empowerment Ministries. However, before the name change, James Bullock Jr., myself and an army of other brothers grew up in sister churches Good News Deliverance & Tabernacle of Victory and Deliverance. To make this part of the story short, the two churches are now combined to form one powerful ministry. How long have I known him, you say? Let’s just say I was about 11 or 12 years old when I joined the church. I’m now….somewhere in my thirties!

GROOM PORTRAIT & PAY BACK

Mr. James Bullock Jr. contacted me about doing something that usually doesn’t happen too often. He wanted to take a portrait for his wedding, in which I have deemed as The Groom’s Portrait. Typically, it’s the bride who gets to have all the fun with the bridal session; which the bride, in this case, did do. This request threw me for a little loop at first, but I thought…Why not?!

Here is man, that I have known for quite some time, who is finally getting married after all these years. It was an honor to do this small deed. Moreover, this same man is responsible for helping me get into college when I couldn’t see beyond high school. Naturally, this was a great opportunity to do something for him at a great moment in his life. To add icing to the cake, James’ mom came along for our fun outdoor session over the span of two locations in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. I must say that I think we were all happy with the results.

I hope many more grooms will follow suit and begin to book themselves a session for their wedding! We won’t have any problems with that going forward.
