[ SONYA + JIMMY ]

I was thrilled when I was contacted by an friend who wanted an engagement session for his oldest daughter. Their wedding was only weeks away, so we had to really get the ball rolling. Jimmy’s uncle is an awesome photographer, which made me a little nervous at first, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a session with such a cute couple.

Sonya and Jimmy were such an easy couple to capture. The locations they chose were great and inspiring. We started off the session at the Downtown City Market in Raleigh, then headed to the infamous NC State University, where we all attended college. To end the session, we took advantage of the great landscapes at the North Carolina Museum of Art just before Jimmy headed to work.

By the end of the session we had a little romance, plenty of laughter, skateboards, wolves, art and much more mixed all together. Who would have thought so much could come from one session. Take a look for yourself!!!
